Beyond the horizon
My diploma-project Titan is part of the exhibition Derrière l’Horizon (beyond the horizon), which has opened on February 2nd at the LE CUBE – Centre de crĂ©ation numĂ©rique in Issy-les-Moulineaux, nearby Paris. The exhibition’s theme is about exploring the futurous relationship between man and machine in an increasingly engineered world. “Derriere l’Horizon” will be open until July 24th, 2010. Entry is free.

apparel for heros
We had been very busy at contentismissing during the fall of 2008. The results of our work have unfortunately not seen the light of the day eventually. But we think this work in particular is worth to be shown in the context of our portfolios; for –
in our honest and humble opinion – we feel to have done our job properly.
Take a look what Opera could have been looking like now…

a cold case revived
It really felt like the portfolio could need more graphic-design content, so I added an old case. I designed the Sleek Magazine website in 2004 at Generation Digitale. It went offline sometime during 2006, but, well, the new one does not feel really better… interesting.

Thanks to everybody, who joined and enjoyed the cut&paste event in Berlin last saturday. Although I was nervous as hell, I hit second place. Congrats and good luck to Sermed – who managed to hit 3D gold – for the upcoming NY final tournament! Rock ‘em good, pal!

Living on Titan
I completely relaunched my livingontitan.com, releasing the fully reworked, 5:50-long presentational movie of Titan to the public. A lot of other information and more concept art from the project can also be found on the website.
With it I updated the portfolio project of Titan aswell.

well-aged

Â
After running the new site for about a month, I reviewed some things and gave it a touch-up. I made several small changes to the overall layout and finally managed to get rid of Helvetica – a tough one. More remarkably though, the »Selected Works«-list has been extended by two aged cases for which i felt they still need the attention they deserve. Nonetheless those were milestones for my creative development and this fact confirmed my decision to put them back in. The Endless Growth of the Interone-Website (which unfortunately is not online anymore) won a range of awards, which link back to my person aswell. It were us three – Mike John Otto, Andrew Sinn and me, who created the very foundation for that project. The second case is still visually exciting. In the ambassadors of the Generation Digitalé a lot of influences manifest, which bias my work until today.
